1. Who we are
EffortIQ is provided by The Ijaz Group LLC, PO Box 319, Clifton, Virginia 20124 ("The Ijaz Group", "we"). This policy covers the effortiq.com website and the EffortIQ service at app.effortiq.com.
2. Information from the website
When you request access, we collect your organization's legal name, EIN and number of employees, your name and your work email. The form sends this information by email to our support team; the website itself does not store it. Cloudflare delivers the site, protects the form from spam using Cloudflare Turnstile, and processes technical data such as IP addresses to keep the site secure. The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
3. Information in the service
Organizations that use EffortIQ enter information about their staff, including names, work email addresses, job details, timesheet hours, time off and approval history. The organization controls this information. We process it on the organization's behalf to provide the service.
4. How we use information
We use it to review access requests, confirm nonprofit status, set up and run the service, send service emails such as invitations, reminders and password resets, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We use service providers to run EffortIQ: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email delivery) and Cloudflare (website delivery, spam protection, and email delivery for access requests). They may use the information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law.
6. Where it is stored
Service data is stored in the United States.
7. How long we keep it
Timesheet, approval and audit records are kept for as long as needed to support the organization's grant and audit obligations. Deactivating an organization stops access and email but does not delete its records.
8. Security
We use encryption, access controls, two-factor sign-in and tamper-resistant audit records. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected organizations of a breach as required by law.
9. Your choices
Staff of an organization using EffortIQ should contact their employer about their information. Anyone may contact us about information we hold.
10. Children
EffortIQ is not intended for anyone under 16.
11. Changes
We will post changes here and update the effective date. Significant changes will be emailed to organization administrators.
