Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are between The Ijaz Group LLC, PO Box 319, Clifton, Virginia 20124 ("The Ijaz Group") and the organization using EffortIQ ("you"). The person accepting them confirms they are authorized to do so for the organization.
2. Eligibility
EffortIQ is offered to nonprofit organizations in the United States that are recognized as tax-exempt. We may ask for evidence of status and may decline or end access to an organization that does not qualify.
3. Free service
EffortIQ is provided at no charge. The Ijaz Group may change or discontinue the free offering with at least 90 days' notice to your administrators. If we discontinue the service, you will be able to export your records before access ends.
4. Your accounts and data
You control who has access, and you are responsible for your users and for the accuracy of what they enter. Your data belongs to you. We use it only to provide and support the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Not professional advice
EffortIQ is a recordkeeping tool. It does not by itself make your organization compliant with 2 CFR 200 or any grant terms, and using it does not create an accounting, audit or consulting engagement with The Ijaz Group. Any such engagement is under a separate agreement.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other organizations' data, interfere with its security, or use it for unlawful purposes.
7. Availability
We aim to keep EffortIQ available and backed up but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Disclaimer and limit of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent the law allows, The Ijaz Group is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to $100.
9. Ending use
You may stop using EffortIQ at any time by contacting support. We may suspend access for breach of these terms. Records are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We will email administrators about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
Virginia law governs these terms.
